French fries with gravy!!!!!!!!

The Blue Ox website is now live. The menu truly has something for everyone from the old to the new Lynn resident. I personally can't wait to get my hands on that Pasta fagioli soup, french fries with gravy and cheese, and a nice hangar steak. I love that they have pasta options so when I'm not in the mood for steak or chicken I actually have another option. The best part is they finally realized that in order to be successful in Lynn, Massachusetts, you need a freakin burger or two on the menu........ And boy do they have two awesome burgers listed.

It better taste as good as it looks in print.

This along with a good microbrew. Wonder if they'll put the beer and wine list up soon. Hope they're open late enough for us to be able to go there for a nightcap.

Looks like we'll have Turbine opening soon in the old Gulu as well. I love that Turbine mentions the service won't be slow as turtles like the former tenant in the Lynn Item interview today. Sounds like someone is listening.

The new Downtown Lynn continues to grow!!!!

Went to Tatiana's last night and I noticed a bunch of decorations. They were kind of Valentine's oriented but there were several number fives. When I asked about it, it turns out this is their five year anniversary. That is something for downtown Lynn to rejoice. Go and support them so we can get five more from them. The chicken fajitas are amazing.

I hope five years from now we'll be celebrating the fact that The Blue Ox is still open.

I'm Hungry

I'm ready for Turbine and The Blue Ox. Anyone know when they will be opening? The Blue Ox has a sign on their window that points you to a website that has absolutely nothing on it but a "Coming Soon" sentence. Not sure if Turbine has anything up online yet? Let's get the word out about these places. Who's heard what? If they won't market themselves, we'll do it. We should definitely organize some big Downtown Lynn parties at both places. I'm HUNGRY and I don't want to go to Swampscott for food anymore!!!

An Opportunity for Downtown

This economy is an opportunity for us. As the nation realizes it can't afford it's old way of life, they should realize they can afford the condos of Downtown Lynn. They can afford to go out to eat at Tatianas and the soon to be Blue Ox and Turbine restaurants which will be opening soon.

I wish we had a mayor worth his #$%^ that could wake up and stop whining about all the cuts in state and federal funds and figure out a way to get a marketing dollar behind an initiative to get more people (and tax revenue) into this city. This is our opportunity. How can we seize it?
