French fries with gravy!!!!!!!!

The Blue Ox website is now live. The menu truly has something for everyone from the old to the new Lynn resident. I personally can't wait to get my hands on that Pasta fagioli soup, french fries with gravy and cheese, and a nice hangar steak. I love that they have pasta options so when I'm not in the mood for steak or chicken I actually have another option. The best part is they finally realized that in order to be successful in Lynn, Massachusetts, you need a freakin burger or two on the menu........ And boy do they have two awesome burgers listed.

It better taste as good as it looks in print.

This along with a good microbrew. Wonder if they'll put the beer and wine list up soon. Hope they're open late enough for us to be able to go there for a nightcap.

Looks like we'll have Turbine opening soon in the old Gulu as well. I love that Turbine mentions the service won't be slow as turtles like the former tenant in the Lynn Item interview today. Sounds like someone is listening.

The new Downtown Lynn continues to grow!!!!

  1. Hi Corey,

I have a new job in the Lynn area and was looking for some places to grab lunch. Thanks for your posts.

  2. Hi Rachel.

Try Big Belly right next to 47 Central for lunch.

Also, if Broad Street isn't too far, George's has a killer Chicken Kabob salad.

Apparently the chef is a semi-celebrity... honestly this makes me a bit nervous. I don't need my chefs to be handsome and charming, I need them to be able to cook!

  4. Hi Philip,
The outreach from this place to the neighborhood has been phenomenal. They are even hosting a neighborhood event next week. If you live downtown, check your lobby for info. If you don't have info, let me know.

I wouldn't be nervous. I think this is finally along the lines of what we need downtown.
