Before the election it made me laugh every time I saw it. It was a bit of foreshadowing and I enjoyed the sign. Now, it just looks sad and water stained. I assume this does not have a connection to the former Mayor? Anyone know?

Hey Chip, Go Get Me A Coffee!!
Someone recently reminded me of this sign on Central Ave. Sadly Big Belly Deli went out of business. This sign now sits in the window of the now defunct deli.

I wish I could have eaten there. I think it's a little dig at Clancy..I wonder if he had trouble with the City?
I've heard a few things. 1. It was very slow. Awesomely freshly cut in front of you cold-cuts, but how does that scale with a line at lunch time?
I heard some other not so nice things, but I'd rather not spread the gossip unless I hear it from someone who heard it come out of his mouth.
When did he go under?
I had a sub there once and it was overpriced. Like 8.00 and horrible. All weird fixings on it ----

Yes it was fresh cut. I order a Chix Caesar and he put fried chicken on it with tomatoes. It was disgusting and loaded with calories..took 1/2 at 11am...nice people who owed it just not the business for them
