Man jumps from Newburyport train
Train is stopped in Central Square. Reportedly, a man tried to jump from the train onto the platform and was not extremely successful. I hope everyone is ok.

i was wondering what happened. the train is still there. i hope the passengers who were delayed gave him the finger as they had to wait for the next train.
There are still passengers in the front car waiting for the next bus. I don't know if the dude made it through this. Police tape going up does not usually signal positive events.
Ugh. I really wish the trains had automated doors to help prevent stuff like this.
Spoke with a friend on board, supposedly, he got up as the train was leaving Lynn, went back to his seat, then decided he needed to get off the train. My friend said a conductor put a tourniquet on his arm, which was supposedly pretty jacked up.
was on the next train thru, told it was a fatality.
Oh man. They just pulled the train away and cleared the scene.
