Have I Ever Told You About Fernando's?

Ok... So I guess you can call me obsessed! I've talked about the sandwiches enough. My last few visits to Fernando's have been over breakfast meetings. The last time I was there, I had a veggie omelette. No offense to Rep. Fennel and my beloved Capitol Diner, but Juan once again takes the crown. He just has a way of doing everything....better.  If you do go to Fernando's for breakfast, get the Guatemalan Breakfast. It's the most expensive thing for a REASON. It's the best breakfast I've ever had. Plantains, beans, eggs, tortilla. It's a breakfast to remember and I have remembered...

Juan treats his customers so well and it's starting to show. I was in there during the afternoon recently and it was quite busy. I hope that keeps up.  It looks like they may be holding a block party on Munroe in late May. Stay tuned for more information, but most importantly, go help out Juan and give Fernando's a Try.

23 Munroe Street directly across the street from Pho Lynn.

  1. That's it. I'm stopping in there tomorrow. If only I can make it in time for breakfast...

  4. You've got to try Juan's "little friend" - the cubano sandwich. His homemade soups are delicious and his dressings add the perfect finishing touch to his artful salads. O.K., now I'm feeling the need to visit Fernando's REAL SOON!
