Snow - A Gentle Reminder

I know I'm going to get slammed for this, but I'm diggin' the snow. These snowstorms have reminded me why I moved to an urban area. I could still get out and get breakfast this morning. I know that a few places will be open tomorrow morning as well. In the last snowstorm, we got a ton of people out of the loft buildings to go to trivia at Turbine. It's a reminder that dense living is smart living. We can have everything we need in close proximity and have fun with our great neighbors while all the suburbanites are shoveling out their driveways.

There is something beautiful about Downtown Lynn in a snow storm. I've enjoyed seeing the photo galleries from Seth at LynnHappens.com after each storm. Obviously a lot of you agree, or he wouldn't have such a flood of material after each storm.

During the storm, tell us what's open in Downtown Lynn on Facebook. Let's get out, support Lynn, and meet a new neighbor.

Let it SNOW!

  1. I like the snow, too! It's just the interaction between the snow and the driving / parking situation that's kinda stressful.

  2. Amen. We should all sell our cars and open businesses in Downtown Lynn. ;-)
