A Time for Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I could sit here and ramble on about all the things I'm thankful for, but they all boil down to one thing... you! You're the ones making all of this possible. Whether you're the politican reading this blog to see what I'm saying about you, or the new resident looking for things to do, or a life-long Lynner looking for a new perspective on this town, it's you that I am thankful for.

Without you, there would be no one attending auditorium shows, Arts After Hours events and buying products in local stores. Without you no one would be going to the restaurants downtown? Without you no one would be speaking up at City Hall and voting to build a stronger government.  Without you, no one would be fighting for a stronger Lynn!

We have a lot to be thankful for this year, but as I've said before... lists always get me in trouble.  I'll let you make the list. Leave something in the comments below for which you are thankful.

  2. Thanks mom and dad #2. You're such great supporters of Downtown and a great example of something I am thankful for. All the people from outside of Lynn discovering what our downtown has to offer.

  3. I am thankful for the retention of a natural and anthropological treasure due to the failure of LOWE's big box from going into that ill-conceived spot in Salem...  I am also SO VERY thankful for Hong Net's rise to a seat on the People's Council and we got rid of that good-old-boy who was selling out our city for the all-mighty self-serving buck...  I will always remember that guy saying "they don't pay me enough..." when I asked him a matter of social concern a few weeks after he was first elected to Council... 'Ding Dong, the man is gone!'...  more time now to go bowling!

  4. Nice post.  Makes me feel warm and fuzzy to think of everyone who I appreciate.

I'ld like to also thank several different opponents throughout the past year, who have actually helped spur community unity.  Without these opponents, our community would have no common cause.  :)
