The 4th annual Back Yard Bash presented by Arts After Hours and featuring Jenny Dee and the Deelinquents, Eddie Japan, and Nick Zaino will take place on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm in the Lynn Museum Park, located at 590 Washington Street in Lynn, MA. The Backyard Bash marks Arts After Hours 4th year of celebrating local art, music, food, and wine in the Downtown Lynn Cultural District. Arts After Hours has teamed up with Ryan’s Smashing Life ( for the 3rd year in a row to bring to Lynn some of the best music coming out of the Massachusetts music scene. This year’s event features Eddie Japan and Jenny Dee and the Deelinquents. Eddie Japan, winner of the 2013 Rock and Roll Rumble, has been described as 60s baroque pop mixed with the less restrained tendencies of 80s alternative guitar bands. Jenny Dee and the Deelinquents was born out of Jenny Dee’s love for the girl group and soul sounds of the 1960s. “Both these bands have an incredible sound that transcends generations,” says Corey Jackson, Managing Director of Arts After Hours. “People will feel like they are in 2013, 1985 and 1966 all at the same time.”

The event will also feature art for sale and demonstrations by local artists in jewelry, photography, illustration, Sculpture, furniture and more. Artists for July 13th include Maleeka McIntire and Ken Coder as well as a pop-up gallery and shop from Centerboard’s visionspace including artists Adam Miller, Josh Morrissette, Michael Karolemeas, Haig Demarjian, Jordan Walsh, Jason Taglieri, Alex Comfort, and Mike Doherty.
